Renewable Energy

The sun is a free, sustainable, clean resource we can leverage in place of conventional electricity to power our lives. Solar energy can be used to provide heat, light, and other electricity-dependent needs in homes and buildings

Developing renewable projects is committed to improving efficiency, independence and transparency of energy market and attract additional investments into the sector.

Ukraine government has developed a National Renewable Energy Action Plan (NREAP). The primary objective was to achieve 25% RES (Renewable Energy Sources) share in the final energy consumption of Ukraine by 2035

Implementation of the “green tariff” stimulated development of renewable energy sources.

Volterra energy group has operated approx. 200 MW solar stations and in partnership with international invest company owned the third biggest portfolio of renewables in Ukraine (536 MW). Portfolio was constructed using latest PV technologies, invertors and panels, in a collaboration with a leading Ukrainian EPC. All stations are located in different regions, mitigating weather and any political risks. Moreover, the stations are below 20MW and most of the electricity produced is consumed by local communities, which eliminates risks pressure to the electricity grid.
